Eddie Kelliher. Mr Kelliher information and biography: Mr kelliher is an exceptionally talented, highly capable teacher. He has a wide variety of teaching experience. he has taught at every class level, is a trained reading recovery teacher, has completed dozens of courses in special education and Autism. he has taught in the classroom for 14 years, SEN for five years and in the Autism Class for four years. Parents widely regard him as conscientious, kind, thorough, goes the extra mile, always does his best for his pupils. Eddie Kelliher has won multiple awards with his classes over the years. he excels in the area of Digital learning. he has designed the school plan in digital literacy and the school acceptable use policy. he heads the ICT team in blarney street that organises the procurement and use of every device in the school. he has led the school in getting pupils involved in dozens of international and national competitions like VEX robotics, scratch and movie making. As well as making podcasts, newspapers and coding competitions. colleacues frequently said of him:" He is always there to lend a hand. A real hero of a teacher." "We don't know what the school would do without him." Pupils asked say they love that Mr Kelliher also plays games with them. They love that he uses dungeons and dragons to teach social skills, build relationships and foster friendships. Mr Kelliher runs the school Dungeons and Dragons club which he runs after school for sixth class pupils. One pupil said, "The games of D&D with Mr Kelliher are my best memories of school. We had these crazy adventures and I never laughed so much." Eddie Kelliher works on the management team in Blarney street as acting assisstant principal helping the guide the school in important decisions. He has also run an after school camp during easter and halloween. It is famously crammed with activites that children love, coding, Nerf wars, art, slime, rocket launches, experiements, lego, board games, science, baking and adventure games. It has been fully booked out every term for four years running because it is so popular. One parent said: "There is no camp like this in cork...or the country! It is amazing the opportunities the children get. We're lucky to have it!"
